    Meet your Mentor

    “Our world is in a time of great transition, and it needs you. The world needs you as a Yoga Teacher, Wellness provider or Healer,  thriving and successful, working from a full cup and not from a place of scarcity and overload.”

    I am Maria Diehn, an E-RYT 500 certified yoga teacher and the founder of Yoga MariSol. I have a deep passion for the transformative practice of yoga, spirituality and wellness and the business dynamics that make it sustainable.
    With a background in economics, I have spent years working in the corporate world as a financial controller and project manager. Despite my extensive knowledge, when I transitioned to becoming a yoga teacher, I initially overlooked the importance of applying my financial expertise to my new career. This led to numerous challenges, including financial instability and an unsustainable workload.
    When I started, I didn’t calculate my finances or consider the business side of yoga. I taught too many classes without knowing what was sustainable or what the norms were. I struggled with clients and even other teachers who viewed yoga as a hobby, offering their services at extremely low rates. It took me nearly three years to realize that if I didn’t apply the same principles and practices from my corporate career to my yoga business, I wouldn’t succeed as a full-time yoga teacher.
    I began integrating my economic knowledge into my yoga business, and that was the turning point. By applying what I knew about finance and business management, I was able to grow and sustain my yoga business. Now, I am here to share my journey and insights with others, helping them avoid the same challenges and achieve their dream of being a successful full-time yoga teacher.
